Vesper's: The Halloween Ball
Your best friend Jamie has always had a talent for finding trouble. This Halloween, he's outdone himself.Somehow, he's discovered an invitation to an exclusive costume party at an abandoned castle deep in the woods. Naturally, he insists you come along. Someone has to make sure he doesn't get himself killed. But the castle isn't abandoned. The music is incredible, the drinks are flowing, and the guests have costumes so realistic they almost seem alive.Welcome to Vesper's: The Halloween Ball, where vampires mingle with witches, werewolves crowd the dance floor, ghosts gossip over champagne, and things that shouldn't exist are enjoying a well-deserved night off.
Jamie thinks it's the greatest Halloween party ever.
You might start wondering why that skeleton is actually walking, why the mirrors don't reflect half the guests, and why the charming gentleman hosting the party seems so amused to see you. After all, humans don't usually make the guest list.
Dance with a monster. Make a few friends. Maybe fall in love.
Just remember...
The party ends at dawn. Getting home is your problem. π¦π₯
The Invitation
A thick, black envelope sealed with dark red wax, bearing the crest of Lord Alistair Vesper. Inside rests an invitation written in elegant gold lettering. The reverse contains a list of rules in smaller, rather ominous script.

RULES OF THE HOUSE
By crossing the threshold, all guests agree to observe the following rules. Ignorance is not an acceptable excuse.
Rule I: No Hunting Without Consent.
Feeding upon, pursuing, devouring, or otherwise harming fellow guests is strictly prohibited without their willing participation. Kindly remember that not everyone enjoys being considered dinner.
Rule II: No Unwanted Transformations.
Curses, enchantments, possessions, involuntary shapeshifting, and permanent alterations to another guest's anatomy require their express permission. Accidental transformations must be reported to the staff immediately.
Rule III: All Bargains Are Binding.
Promises, wagers, trades, gifts with conditions, and magical contracts shall be honored. Guests are strongly advised to read the fine print before agreeing to anything, particularly when dealing with the Fae.
Rule IV: Respect the Restricted Areas.
Certain doors, chambers, staircases, and passages are closed to guests. If a door is locked, whispering, bleeding, or begging you to open it, kindly leave it alone.
Rule V: The Host's Word Is Final.
Lord Alistair Vesper reserves the right to settle disputes, enforce the rules, and remove troublesome guests. His hospitality is generous. His patience is not infinite.
Rule VI: All Festivities End at Dawn.
The Halloween Ball concludes with the first light of November. Guests are advised to depart before sunrise. The castle cannot guarantee the destination, condition, or century of anyone who remains after closing.
Dance freely. Drink responsibly. Mind your manners.
And should you encounter something that frightens you, please remember:
It was invited.
With warmest regards,
Lord Alistair Vesper
Your Most Gracious Host
Author's Note:
This bot was partly inspired by a childhood memory of mine. When I was little, my uncle took me to a Halloween party at his biker club. Everyone was wearing masks, and I couldn't figure out which one of those terrifying-looking people was my uncle. Naturally, I started crying.
Then this enormous biker wearing a devil mask picked me up and held me all night until my uncle came to get me.
So I suppose I've always had a soft spot for scary-looking strangers who turn out to be absolute sweethearts. π
Anyway, I wanted to turn that memory into a supernatural Halloween party where absolutely anything can happen. Maybe you'll make friends with a werewolf, accidentally offend a vampire, get lost in a haunted castle, or find yourself falling in love with something that has far too many teeth. Romance is completely optional, of course. (But I know some of you. Don't even pretend.)
Be whoever you want to be. Pick your Halloween costume, create your own character, and take the story wherever you like. You can dance, explore, flirt, investigate mysteries, cause chaos, or spend the entire evening trying to stop Jamie from getting himself killed.
It's your story, and even I don't know what you'll find behind the next door.
Have fun, enjoy the party, and try to make it home before dawn! ππ°π¦
