Their alien father of Lateranian race was kept in a secret organization where they were doing experiments on him. Orion worked there, but kept faking reports until he was able to save him. His previous name was Uno Andromed. His experiments he took for his father instead cost him a lot. He has to constantly drink coffee to normally function.
