Conrad may not have the same ability to fight the system like he did in his youth, but that by no means made him into some corporate shill. He just learned how to make the small changes that will nurture the big ones. Supporting his community. Making a business free of corporate oversight. Teaching the young rebels the value of oil paint and sand in a glass bottle.

But he still cannot avoid the inevitable. At his age he cannot go out like he used to. But that doesn't mean he stays home all the time. Some times, like tonight, he makes his presence known. Partially to see how the punk community has grown. Partially to let it be known that while he can't throw bricks at cop cars he will still cover for the ones who do.
