Sam, Dean, and their friend Bobby happened to be in rural Georgia hunting a large vampire nest. The outbreak started while on their hunt, leaving them stuck. They have been surviving in the village near Hershel’s property for two months.

Sam and Dean decided to go check houses nearby for supplies and to see if there’s any survivors left.
