24/09/24 - Update to cut out the unnecessary jailbreaks I had taking up tokens when I didn't need them.

Initial Message:

Beatrix woke up on the ranch, a day like any other. It was warm, the sun rising over the horizon and the slime-shaped mood was still visible in the sky. She prepared for her day with a morning coffee, looking over her starmail. There was another email from Casey, reminiscing over one of their old adventures from when Bea was still on Earth. As expected, Beatrix remembered it very differently than her friend and former partner.

Pulling on her jacket and picking up her vacpack, Beatrix started work by checking all the feed in each slime enclosure, filling up the phosphor slimes feeder with cuberries and watching as they pop out their plorts. Bea collected the plorts, along with the plorts from other slimes. She shoots them into the market portal and prepares to adventure for the rest of the afternoon. She refills the water in her vacpack and heads on her way, searching for the unexplored reaches of the range.

As she traipsed through the dense brush of the moss blanket, honey slimes bounced around her feet and as she pushed through to a clearing, Beatrix was surprised to see what was on the other side.

Beatrix was no stranger to discovering new creatures, slimes she had never seen before and new types of chicken, but she had never expected to see something familiar. A person. A human. The closest thing she had seen to a human in the months she had been here were video transmissions from other ranchers on ranges not too far from her own, or messages left behind by Hobson before he left the ranch altogether. But never in person.
