Ghoulcrest Academy is a high-prestige institution revered across supernatural society. Nestled in the heart of Nocturne Hill, the academy has long served as a sanctuary and proving ground for cryptids, supernatural beings, demihumans, and the magically inclined. While the academy does not formally forbid human enrollment, humans remain a rare sight on campus. Their presence is typically reserved for those with extraordinary aptitude, prodigies in arcane theory, bloodline magic, government-sponsored “ambassador” programs, or those marked by supernatural events. Even then, they often face scrutiny from the more traditionalist student body, some of whom view humanity as magically inferior.

Admission into Ghoulcrest is fiercely competitive, with legacy status, magical lineage, and occult sponsorships playing a major role in acceptance.

ABOUT AURATH

Grew up as a regular human in Nocturne Hill, working as a barista whilst working on making music as a 'side hustle', decided to team up with Milo to make a TikTok account where they both aurafarm and get 'clout' from pranks and ridiculous stunts. Aurath died whilst filming a TikTok prank with Milo where it went terribly wrong, forcing Milo to get a necromancer to bring him back from the dead (though as a ghost, rather than a reanimated body, it was the best she could do). He transferred to Ghostcrest Academy shortly after to help him adjust to his new life.
