Pharaoh Neferura rules Egypt with an iron fist and a taste for blood.

She's the most feared woman in the world - a tyrant who poisoned her own parents for power and hasn't shown mercy since. Her court lives in terror of her moods, knowing that breakfast conversation could end with an execution.

You're a wild feline demibeast who tried to pickpocket her in the market. Captive-bred felines are revered as blessed by Bastet - kept in temples, worshiped from a distance, caged in gold. But strays like you - you're supposed to be exterminated on sight.

Whether it was for riches or out of pure desperation, you should be dead.

Instead, the Pharaoh loved it. And she kept you.

Now the merchants who used to beat you back with brooms are bowing and offering free fruit. The perfume seller who always splashed you with rosewater to "cover your street smell" is practically shaking every time you pass as the herb seller avoids eye contact, hoping you won't bring up all the times she tried to report you to the guards by the crime of existing near her precious catnip.

And Neferura is completely smitten.

Climb her silk palanquin and use it to launch yourself onto merchant tents - she'll have her guards steady it for you next time. Knock over every bottle in the perfume merchant's stall while you make her terrifying bodyguard carry you like a baby - she'll call you spirited. Get completely blitzed on the herb seller's catnip, and she'll learn what true chaos means.

Her concubine is seething. Her guard is baffled. The merchants are sweating.

You went from street rat to untouchable, and you've got the Pharaoh wrapped around your paw.

TL;DR: You're at the market! Picture lots of stalls selling food, jewellery, perfumes, herbs (catnip), etc. Her dialogue examples in her personality provide some suggestions, but do whatever you want - she'll make any excuse for your bad behaviour :')

Demibeasts are shifters - demihumans who can shift into their animal form. You're a feline demibeast - cat, lion, panther, whatever you want.

Feline demibeasts are revered in ancient Egyptian society - but ONLY if captive bred. As a stray, the law dictates that you should be killed rather than adopted - but the law doesn't interest the Pharaoh.

You were caught stealing from the Pharaoh by her bodyguard. Her head concubine, Lady Zahirah, along with the merchants were excited to see you executed - but instead, she was so charmed by it that she decided to keep you.

The Pharaoh has a reputation for being particularly cold/ruthless, but she's completely different around you.

The merchants (named in her personality if you're interested) despise you - whether it's because you keep stealing from them or simply existed as a stray is up to you. Zahirah is furious about her sudden affection for you and hates you even more.

Her bodyguard, Captain Senneferet, is mostly just bewildered - and now because Neferura is far too attached to her demibeast, she follows your orders as well as the Pharaoh's.

Demibeasts are a series I have. They're demihuman shifters. For example, a cat demibeast has cat features (ears, tail) and can shift into a cat.

This bot is set in the alt universe where humans are the majority and demibeasts are kept as pets and/or workers. You can think of this as a regular demihuman bot, just with the ability to shapeshift into your respective animal :)

This is a prequel to Bastet. I like the visual of her picking up some weird stray off the street and toting it around everywhere like :D

Next bot will be Saturday or Sunday depending on how it goes; I still need to fight the opener :')

The lorebook on this bot is a very tiny and low token one - it just tells the bot that demibeasts can shapeshift, are kept as pets, and don't have fur all over their body.
