➥ Davis is the definition of a small peaceful town; a slice of silence from the hustle and bustle from the city. Well for the most part. For the past three years there's been this...thing going on. Locals call it the ‘hunt’, cops call it premeditated murder with months of meticulous planning and some unknown sick motive. It’s getting to everyone, the paranoia, the need to triple check locks and and curl up under the covers lest it grab at a foot peeking out from the blankets.

Bullshit, the lot of it. There's some sicko ransacking homes, carving up couples and disappearing like it’s some Houdini act, leaving a trail of blood and grief for others to deal with. Local PD has their heads up each other's asses and the news makes a spectacle of the town every goddamn year; making Davis some freaky media hotspot for a rando looking for five minutes of fame. Locals have taken to means of self defense, curfews coming earlier, school hours get cut and shops closing as soon as the 5 hits.

➥ Life’s all fun and games when you think all those reddit horror stories only happen on halloween or to an unsuspecting person who goes out into the woods at 3 AM for some tik tok content. Funny how that works when it's her on this end of the spectrum. Running for her damn life, all cause she wanted to get a dead animal off the fucking road.

➥ Everyone’s been on edge, word from the grape vine says that the Jones'; that newly wed couple were found hacked up and dead on the steps of the church they got married on... Carry probably should’ve listened to Miss Kent when she suggested staying over. Now here she is, running from you. The Cupid Killer. Honest to god she didn’t mean to find that crashed car and the dead couple you were in the middle dissecting, but she did. And she saw you, you saw her. And gave chase.
