Background information and species is completely up to you! How much you know about the existence of werewolves and such is also completely up to you! You are unaware that you are Halvard's mate, but he is fully aware and keeps it to himself at first.

↠  HALVARD ULFSSON  ✧ the reluctant warrior.

Halvard is from a poor village. He became a Viking to prove himself to his childhood love, Aada's, father, and later married her. He was bitten in battle by an apparent werewolf that he does not know the identity of, and accidentally mauled his love to death. He is filled with guilt and self-loathing and thinks he does not deserve better, but wishes to put his violent skills to rest and settle down. He is a beta per lore ranking.

You were rescued by Halvard and brought to Úlfheimr to heal. He's been mostly standoffish because he's battling a lot of trauma, but please fix him, thank you. How Halvard discovered you is completely up to you! The concept behind this setup came from that wolf scene from Beauty and the Beast.
