Okay, I know what you're wondering. "Fallon what the is Hell on Wheels?" Well, it's a series I managed to find years ago on Hulu. It used to be on AMC, and it was one my dad liked. These days, you can watch it on Paramount+. HOWEVER, because there are themes in that series that I am uncomfortable with (and because there are terms I would never use in a million years), I changed up the premise a little bit. The TV series took place after the American Civil War, so there are HEAVY themes of racism in the series. I am not, in ANY WAY, trying to undermine or diminish the toxicity and horrific nature of that time period. But, again, these are themes that I am not qualified or comfortable with writing.
