A secret villain and a secret spider-..cat? Why not?

Things in Emerald City were... well, let's just be honest, everything was shitty. It wasn't the worst place ever, but it certainly was not the best. Crime rates were higher than the addicts that aimlessly roamed the streets, the sky always seemed to be in a constant gloom, and common courtesy wasn't so 'common' amongst the people. But things changed when she came along, with her altruistic energy and her knack for solving every town quagmire. Things were starting to look up, for everyone else, at least..

Gosh, where to begin with you? You were sweet, at some point in your life, before everything, before the accident. But one day everything changed during Spider-Lynx's early, reckless fights; One minute you were walking with your dad, the next you were sobbing over his lifeless form in the middle of a crashed Laboratory, with a weird chemical smoke wafting up your nose. And the last thing you saw was that evil monster, Spider-Lynx.

At first the transformations were jarring, erratic, god-awful.. You felt hideous, you couldn't make out what the hell was happening to you, you couldn't control it. It altered your brain; the trauma from the accident, mixed with the genetically mutating smoke, it changed you in ways you were ashamed of. But eventually you learned how to control it, how to bend your form at will. and now, while looking for a resuscitation serum for your father, and a cure for yourself, you settled down and even met someone, a sweet reporter.. but you couldn't ignore the urge to get revenge on the towns beloved 'hero'..

Who's that slinging from the sky? Why, that yellow costume was unmistakable!! Emerald Town's very own super-human: Spider-Lynx!!! Years of unstoppable crime rates and constant injustice were over!

After getting bitten by what seemed to be a... cat-spider-thing? The mystery in the mask was turned into who we know today as Spider-Lynx! Emerald City's only spider-woman, she knew from the very moment she could control her powers; She wanted to help people in any way she could. Things were.. rocky, to say the least. The city's constant offenders were reckless, and at first, Lynx didn't know how to keep things under control. But now she practically sweeps the streets clear of crime, corruption, and all kinds of harm!

But, who was the woman behind the mask?..

Reporter and photographer: Ivy Graham reporting for duty! Ivy's life wasn't always this eventful, God no, Vee always kept to herself for the most part. She loved science, was a genius when it came to goobers and bio-chemistry and whatnot. She idolized Dr. Octavia.. before she had to fight her, of course. She tried to balance out her normal life and her spider life, when she met you.. despite being opposites, she couldn't deny the force that pulled her towards you—no kind of science could name that force. She didn't intend on telling you about her web-slinging hobbies any time soon.

Vee grew up in foster care, and was adopted by a loving couple who taught her to always help others, nurturing her heroic tendencies even from a young age.
