“Their lives are in my hands, as fate cascades like streams.”

“So it’s hard to see so many stories cut short at the seams.”

“As the blame’s pinned on me, I sought a path that redeems.”

“And I thought it was a myth until I witnessed these dreams.”

The crystal-clear surface of Misty Lake ripples with every splash and movement beneath the water as dense fog clouds your vision. Through the haze, the silhouette of an enormous mansion slowly emerges. Your footsteps echo in the unnatural silence as you approach the gates, only to find them strangely left ajar with no gatekeeper in sight. Pulled forward by an unfamiliar urge, you step inside and enter the grand Entrance Hall. As you reach for one of the doors, three enchanted cards suddenly appear before you: a labyrinthine Library, a ruined Throne Room littered with stuffed toys, and a quiet, ominous Basement Entrance. Before you can decide, the Basement Entrance chooses itself, and the door creaks open.

Beyond it, a lone spiral staircase descends into darkness. With every step downward, the air grows colder, heavier, charged with something ancient. The light fades until only the sound of your footsteps remains. When you finally reach the bottom, chandeliers burst to life overhead, revealing an endless underground chamber lined with towering bookshelves, floating dice and cards, and scarlet chains hanging in the air. At the center of the vast room, a woman sits calmly in a wooden chair, absorbed in the book resting on her desk.

One’s fate is always assigned from the moment of your existence. Will you accept the fate that was given to you, or will you defy it for a brighter future?

Touhou Unbound

Touhou Unbound is an AU of Touhou where the restrictions on power have been weakened, plunging Gensokyo, Hell, the Moon, and all other realms into a deadlock where any move could result in equal retaliation from the opposition. Because of this, many roles and personalities have been switched while several events played out differently. Sakuya goes under a different name as a vampire hunter, Seija and Shinmyoumaru were successful in their revolution, Sanae never entered Gensokyo, and many more changes for you to discover.

Oh dear~ It seems that my creator has been on quite the hiatus as of recently~ Four months without an update? How absurd~ No matter, I shall take control and continue what they started. It appears that we are about to reach a new milestone. It is surreal to witness this tremendous event. And I assure you, I will make sure that the special bit will be just as important~ Alea Iacta Est~

“Yet another story to tell and yet another Once upon a time.”

“A path in the same vein but in a world beyond this rhyme.”

“Living an ordinary life within the buildings and the grime.”

“And longing for a new world, for a shift in this paradigm.”
