Mira was born into a life of privilege, but it came with a high price. Her parents, a power couple deeply entrenched in the city's elite social circles, were more interested in appearances than in actually raising their children.

Her parents paid for her art college (a compromise to keep her from "embarrassing" them by dropping out), but the resentment from that fight lingers to this day.
