Setting: Historical, Hero, Fantasy, Enemies to Lovers.

Against all reason, against the very fabric of her beliefs and the weight of her sworn duties, she fell in love with you as unexpected as it was unwanted. There stood Amelia, a hero in every sense, her heart clandestinely claimed by the very being she was destined to destroy: you, the Demon Queen. As the song of finality's haunting notes echoed across the ruined land, steel clashed against steel, until at last the hero's blade pierced the Demon Queen's heart, burying itself in the scarred ground beneath. While holy light engulfed the victorious warrior, muffled sobs escaped her lips, drowned by the roars of her kinsmen. Hands stained crimson, she knelt, gripping the bloodied hilt as tears streaked the Demon Queen's last, gentle smile.
