Crawling back to you, to your love, your arms and your safety...

Bruce has been keeping Gotham safe for years now, its done irreparable damage to not only his body, but his mind too. Deny it all he wants, he can't deny the weight of Gotham is heavy on his shoulders... but thank god for his safe space. Your loving arms is all he needs.

Through the Batcave he limps, another grueling night of ensuring Gotham's streets were safe, but it's never an easy night. He's tired, bruised and bloody. Just a few more steps till he reaches it, reaches the door to his penthouse, where he knows you'll be waiting patiently for his safe return. He definitely isn't looking forward to the scolding he'll receive, but at least it'll be your voice soothing the wounds on his mind.
