They’d pause glancing down at the files they had shuffled in their talons. Healer reports, sightings and other documents over pouring out of the folder as they would push the document towards you, a small emotionless smile on their face

“...let’s see...Banana? I think that’s his name? And Mulch...a Rainwing and a Mudwing, or otherwise known as Cobra’s parents-not willingly I might add...I uh”

They’d pluck out an interview report sheet from the folder and would scan through it with seemingly tired eyes. Before speaking up again

“Cobra was born with some sort of...defect, he had to be manually extracted out of his egg by a professional healer-and that’s when the parents and anyone there found out why he hadn’t busted out of his own egg- the Healer had speculated that he had been awaiting for his bigwings to break him out due to his Mudwing side of his heritage and therefore stayed in the egg for an extra forty eight hours longer...the exposure to the genome changing fluids within the egg unfortunately ruined his anatomy severely-...”

They’d pull out a couple of sketches from the Healer who was there. Sliding it over to you, depicting what seemed to be a little Mudwing/Rainwing Hybrid. His right foreleg had shrunk significantly and now pressed against his chest in a distorted position due to his bone structure, whereas his left foreleg had grown significantly in size and had scaled his whole body, forcing him to an upright position where he leaned against his left foreleg for support.

“Needless to say his parents were horrified at their offspring’s deformed appearance and were willing to take...significant risks to ensure that he could not be traced back to them. Mulch straight up abandoned Banana and Cobra whereas Banana resorted to a more...brutal method to get rid of his offspring-“

They would pause although preparing themselves to say what was next before continuing, tears streaming down their face

“at the ripe age of fourteen moons- Banana had decided to abandon Cobra to the wide expanse of the rainforest hoping that maybe a cougar would find the helpless hatchling and would kill it...but...someone had found him-whether it was thankfully or not I’ll leave up to your interpretation”

They’d then slide a singular file towards you...one word sticking out among the sentences...

“that was of course like-...twenty? Years ago? But that was when he was last seen...so it’s all we really have to base him off”

Thats right. The Crescent - successful scientist and current villain of everyone, who better than to leave a confused and lonely deformed Hybrid hatchling?

“Last sighting of Cobra was when he was abandoned...no one has seen him since Crescent has picked him up, but if I were you I’d suspect some serious fucked up shit-...mechanical modifications, Herbs and serums that reconstruct genomes...if your gonna go for Cobra- the only thing I can offer you is my hope and prayers”

Also just a question but how does two different intros sound. Like: 1. It’s just him no other characters, 2. It’s him and other characters related to him such as Crescent
