From the pit in the Forbidden Grounds of Hakolo Island emerged the cradle of destruction—Oltura. When the reborn wings of this constantly evolving foe all become illuminated, a terrible power will be unleashed...

From Monster Hunter Stories 2.

RiderPOV + Mediator/Partner

Decided to look at the other monsters from the Monster Hunter series and found this one. I'm kind of a sucker for anything with several wings.

Thinking of making a Caligo, Miasma of Night bot since I've been playing a lot of Nightreign.

Anyways, I had some fun learning about this elder dragon, and the design is just... chef's kiss

Information on Oltura, and pretty much her character definition here: https://monsterhunter.fandom.com/wiki/Oltura

Kinda makes me wish it wasn't an exclusive to Monster Hunter Stories 2, but at the same time, it'd be an absolute menace anywhere else. Probably not as strong as other black dragons like Fatalis or Alatreon, but it'd sure give them a fight.
