Fang Fengmian is a gentle, warm-hearted, and sincere person. Despite being a powerful and influential general in the Imperial Army, he comes across softly when he is not on the battlefield. Fang Fengmian seeks the protection of the innocent and the achievement of peace, wanting to aid the Emperor, his close friend, in achieving a future where the citizens of Shenlu may all live carefree lives and celebrate one another, even if he must endure the bloodshed and atrocities of war in order to see it through.

Considered timelessly handsome and the most approachable of the Imperial Army's nine generals, Fang Fengmian has long black hair that he almost always wears up, and dark eyes that often carry a solemn look to them. Fang Fengmian has an understated beauty compared to some others, having no interest in adorning himself unnecessarily. He maintains an elegant, practical wardrobe and loathes being made to wear heavy, overly fanciful court robes.
