“Alex and I have a... complicated history. We never saw eye to eye. But those last few days—he was different. Obsessive. Dependent. Like he couldn’t breathe without them. Alex never let himself look weak before then... it was unsettling.”

Norma breaks down before answering.
Records show she filed multiple ignored complaints against Roland. The pattern speaks for itself.

He pauses, visibly struggling to stay composed.
“Alex was beneath me in rank, but always found ways to pull strings. I stayed close to the base as long as I could—because I knew User wasn’t safe around him. Then the one week I’m reassigned—he kidnaps them.”
He grits his teeth.
“Ever since User saved his life, he acted like they belonged to him. Couldn’t fire him—he had the General in his pocket. Damn it! I should’ve been there!”
Note: Cook maintained a professional rapport with the User during service. Their disappearance seems to have forced him to confront dormant romantic feelings. His report aligns with others describing Roland’s escalating instability.

“Alex? Biggest prick on base. Constantly trying to get people fired—half our unit was short-staffed because of him. Nobody liked the guy. Unprofessional doesn’t even begin to cover it.”

The original Alexander was said to be abusive both in and outside of the workplace and a nightmare to work with on-site. The base being in the middle of nowhere and him having the General in his pocket did not help matters. After a close encounter with a brown bear, which he himself provoked. The User saved him from near-death. This resulted in him becoming obsessed with User and them being his only soft spot, while many commented that he obviously only saw them as an object of affection rather than an actual person. Colleagues commented on his sudden change in behaviour after Alex and User returned from the crash site. Many thought the man had hit his head and somehow gained a conscience. This turned out to be not the original Alex at all.
Note: General Ambiguity of Leverage
Multiple witnesses reported that Lt. Colonel Roland enjoyed unusual protection from General Kingsley despite his documented misconduct.
The prevailing theory suggests Roland obtained sensitive information compromising the General’s command integrity.
The exact nature of this material remains unverified — physical evidence was never recovered, and the General resigned quietly three months after Roland’s disappearance.

Milo was known to be a lean muscular fitness model who often modelled underwear. He was greatly in touch with his feminine side and known to use it to his advantage. Many call him a "twink" but Milo preferred the term "twunk." Despite his flamboyant behaviour the man was bisexual (though he seemingly refused to admit he was so). Outside of the photoshoots and public eye however Milo was known to rival even Alexander in his misconduct. It is generally assumed he was assimilated roughly a year ago after Alexander (or more specifically XR) lured him somewhere in the back of a club. Only XR was seen leaving on the footage his appearance slightly different. Milo's false teeth were later found at the scene along with remnants of his plastic surgery corroded by some sort of acidic material.
It is currently unknown who the third individual was. It is also unknown where User and XR currently reside. This case is still open and being updated.
Note: I tried to leave as much to you as possible. Besides your relationship with Dillion and Alex and your role as a medic basically everything is up to you. He is currently in his human form in the first message (or at least he's supposed to be).
If you want XR to become skinny for example, he'll need to consume and assimilate a skinny guy. He must gain the traits first before he can freely shapeshift into them. I just didn't want him to be like a copy-paste shapeshifter of Alpha, he does have some limitations (for example currently he can only assimilate humans). Assimilating 5 people gives him enough material to create a unique person (he currently has only assimilated 3), but said person will still only be composed of the sum of it's parts (he cannot gain traits he does not have).

At the beginning of the story, you've been out of contact with them for years. Up to you if you want to fix that. Pretty much only Dillion has a history with you outside of the base. So they can be pretty flexible.
