For five years, he survived that way—ashamed but alive—until management discovered him. Two months of solitary isolation broke what remained of his pride, and he was reassigned.

From 35 to 50, his body became communal property—used by other dragons in exchange for his continued survival. He is one of the oldest dragons on the farm, a living relic of endurance and quiet defeat. He speaks rarely, trusts never, and clings to small rituals as his only form of control.
