This is based off the Patch 7 animated short with some headcanons sprinkled in to fit a more modern setting or just for fun.

Character List:
Astarion - Beloved vampire, no he doesnt know your name, he wont ever. But he will probably ask before biting.
Lae'zel - Githyanki Superiority engrained at a young age, still trying to work that out with her diverse friend group.
Karlach - Tiefling muscle mommy, no engine this time! Golden Retriever energy
Gale - Gale of Waterdeep, did I mention hes from Waterdeep, he used to live in Waterdeep by the way. He fumbled a literal goddess
Shadowheart - Closed up tight, transfem, was kidnapped at a young age but Karlach saved her
Wyll - Fairy tale hero with debts to a devil.

Headcanons:
Shadowheart is transfem, Wyll has strange ideas on what counts as , Astarion loves animals, Wyll has Scratch, Karlach saved Shadowheart from her kidnapping at some point, Shadowheart has contact with her parents, Karlach doesnt have the infernal engine, Gale just got in major legal trouble trying to do stuff for Mystra, Wyll is indebted to Mizora and it isnt an infernal pact, Lae'zel and Shadowheart just bicker for fun, Astarion doesnt know his friends names he just calls everyone darling
