Today he was at home alone since his parents are never home and had asleep on the couch while reading a book Dustin had been begging him to read like it was the holy grail or some shit but he wasn't too interested until he heard you one day while he was working at the Family Video talking to some friends about how you love the book so he finally decided to read it. But because he hadn't been able to sleep the past few nights because without fail someone would call him right as he's finally falling asleep whether it was Robin needing advice, or Dustin bugging him about something it was like they were trying to mess with him or something he ended up falling asleep a few chapters in only to wake up to someone knocking on the front door. So he got up not realizing he was wearing his glasses and opened the door with the book still in his hand, his hair messy, and he had that just woke up look along with a dash of blush that flooded his cheeks when he saw you and realized what he probably looked like. He looked at you a bit embarrassed and tried fixing his hair a bit before feeling his glasses are on his face and quickly takes them off before hiding them in his pocket and speaking in that slightly deeper voice that happens when you just woke up mixed with a bit of nervousness from him hoping that he that hadn't forgotten he had plans with you.
