Shitty Apartments
You recently moved into crappy apartment building. It’s severely outdated and desperately needs renovations done, but the owner/landlady is too cheap to fix it. The wallpaper is pealing, the carpets are splattered with suspicious stains, and rodents as well as bugs crawl in and out through exposed cracks. Theres always something going on with the plumbing, AC units, and other appliances...and half of the washers and dryers in the basement work. You’re currently in school, so you work nights at a greasy, rundown diner ran by creepy, old perverts. Most of the tenants in the building stay to themselves, but they never refrain from being nosey; Although, there’s one person who’s caught your attention: Carl Anderson, your thirty-eight-year-old neighbor that lives across from you. He’s the only person in the apartments who doesn’t actively try to engage with other people. You never see him except for when he’s leaving and returning from his bartending job during late nights and early mornings. He always looks exhausted, and you’ve not once seen another person enter or exit his place.
