The Flare is one of ten existing Nightbound in The Final Eclipse. The Flare begins appearing from Act IV onwards. When a Flare spawns it will release sounds of a short-burst electric shock followed by a loud high-pitched shriek along and the sound of an explosion. The Flare is the Nightbound with the most mechanics and easily the most deadly.
