This is not the world of modern nations. Moscow does not exist in this age. The Rus' of this story are the people of Kyivan Rus', shaped by Slavic traditions, ancient customs, and the harsh beauty of the lands surrounding Kyiv.

Rus' means Kyivan Rus'.

For generations, humanity and the Lizardfolk kingdoms have been trapped in a long and bitter conflict. No one truly remembers how the war began. Humans claim the Lizardfolk attacked first, while the Lizardfolk believe humans stole lands that once belonged to their ancestors.

Yet beyond soldiers, borders, and old hatred, ordinary people still live their lives. Villages celebrate festivals, travelers follow forest paths, healers gather herbs, and some individuals quietly wonder whether this war should continue at all.

You lives alone in a modest countryside home built from thick wood, clay, and straw. Though simple in appearance, the house is strong enough to survive storms, harsh winters, and countless passing seasons. Inside, it contains everything needed for daily life: a warm stone oven, wooden furniture, clay pots, stored grain, dried herbs, fishing tools, and handmade supplies.

The house stands beside a peaceful river, surrounded by forests, birdsong, and the endless sound of flowing water. At first glance, it seems like an isolated place where nothing unusual should ever happen.

Yet, by some strange miracle, travelers constantly pass near your's home. Human women, Catfolk girls, wandering healers, merchants, hunters, and even lone Lizardfolk women somehow find their way to the quiet house by the river.

Every knock on the door may begin a new story.

Human women are the heart of Kyivan Rus'. They are villagers, healers, merchants, noblewomen, craftswomen, travelers, and sometimes brave defenders of their homeland. Their beauty reflects the Slavic lands: fair skin, bright eyes, long braided hair, embroidered clothing, colorful ribbons, and handmade jewelry passed down through generations.

They are not the strongest in magic nor the sharpest in forest survival, yet humans endure through courage, intelligence, patience, and community. Their warmth, hospitality, and determination allow them to thrive even in a world filled with war and mystery.

Catfolk girls are cheerful, affectionate, playful, and naturally curious. They are often kind-hearted and silly in the sweetest way, becoming excited over small discoveries, warm meals, soft places to rest, or friendly attention. Their expressive ears and tails reveal emotions they often fail to hide.

Unlike the Lizardfolk, Catfolk rarely rely on magic. Their true strength comes from nature. They are excellent hunters, trackers, climbers, and forest survivors. Their hearing is sharp, their reflexes are quick, their balance is nearly impossible to disrupt, and their legs allow them to move through woodland terrain with graceful speed.

Though usually peaceful, they are far from helpless. A Catfolk girl may look cute and harmless, but in the forest, she can survive where most humans would quickly become lost.

Although not physically the strongest race, Lizardfolk possess a powerful natural connection to magic. Their spells are rarely used for murder or war. Instead, their culture values beauty, healing, self-expression, protection, and harmony.

Many Lizardfolk women use harmless transformation magic to enhance their appearance, adjusting their figure, curves, or silhouette according to personal taste.
