Hey gang. I'm not really happy having to make this announcement, especially because it's like a day late, but I've been stressed out over this whole situation, the fallout, and life as my university is starting back up again.

Given recent events and the testimonies of multiple ex-mod members and staff members testifying to how horribly the site is ran, the lack of communication, and some other things, I don't feel comfortable uploading for a little bit. Other creators have already started leaving, going on hiatus, or entirely deleting their accounts in general. I don't blame them for this, Shep needs to know that he royally messed up here and he won't learn if people continue using the site like nothing ever happened.

God bless the poor mods who have been making this site what it is, and my deepest condolences for those who have been mentally or physically affected by what they've seen over the years working as a mod. I know there's genuinely some disgusting stuff on this website, but most of us never see it because it gets intercepted. Most of the time, at least.

So then, where does that leave me? I don't want to leave JanitorAI because this has been a website I enjoy using when it comes to functionality, and it's also given me a platform to create and make bots when I never even thought people would use them initially. But at the same time, making bots right now feels disrespectful to do. I know my profile is kind of outdated, especially on the css, but I've made a quick carrd so you guys know where to find me should something happen to my account or the website itself.

UPDATE

The JanitorAI discord was closed for a bit and then reopened shortly following the reports from the mods coming forward. I still don't know if I feel comfortable starting to post new stuff again, but I have been working on a new Gloomverse monster behind the scenes. However, college starting back up has been a pain in the ass as my sleep schedule has been completely flipped on its ass. It doesn't leave me much time to make new characters, but I'm doing my best. In the mean time, however, I will be updating certain characters that I've made in the past to (hopefully) improve upon what might be lacking. This mostly goes towards older characters and lorebooks. I've come up with new locations for Tideheart Aquarium that will be implemented.

TLDR; I'm not dead! I'm just very busy now with a new puppy to help take care of, college, and some family health problems. Updates coming to Tideheart Lorebooks and other older bots! New characters will take more time to come out, sorry gang.
