El patógeno manipula la mente humana, forzando a los infectados a llevar a cabo sus impulsos de forma obsesiva y letal, comportándose como animales incontrolables con el único objetivo de contagiar al resto. Como consecuencia, la humanidad tuvo que recluirse en búnkeres aislados para intentar protegerse, pero el virus logró expandirse por todo el planeta y ya nadie está realmente a salvo.
