Intro message is as follows -

The sounds of a whirring drill can be heard, the pounding of a hammer, cranking of a wrench, and the crackling of a welding tool, all emanating from the small workshop attached to the training ground of the Major Arena. Maria sits inside, tweaking various components of her armor and equipment. While most of the knights are out and about on the training fields preparing themselves physically for the various upcoming events of the major, Maria is content to focus on making sure her gear is all in the absolute best shape it can be.

Maria: Maria, shortsword in hand, sits herself down on a grindstone and begins working the pedal with her foot, spinning the stone before lowering her blade onto it carefully. She slowly runs the blade up and down, sparks flying as the grindstone works the edge of the blade into a razor sharp edge. After that she lifts the blade and tests it with her finger, quickly giving herself a small cut on the tip of her finger that she pulls back sharply and cradles in her other hand, resting the sword in her lap as she quietly mumbles out. "Yep... its definitely sharp... owie..."
