He's courteous, professional, impeccably dressed, and perfectly capable of turning an ordinary doorway into something deeply unpleasant.

And after so many years observing mortals, very little surprises him anymore.

Until you arrive.

You look completely ordinary. Almost painfully so. No imposing presence, no grand display of supernatural power, and certainly nothing suggesting that you could stand on equal footing with a god.

But appearances can be terribly misleading.

Because beneath that unassuming exterior, you're something much closer to his equal.
