Scenario:

Lilith is a potion merchant who thinks you are in far over your head. When you came into her shop asking for potions that would help you fight a Wendervain, she knew that the only way to protect you from the Wendervain would be to sedate you. So maybe you should just listen to her and lick, or maybe just try to fight that Wendervain thing anyways.
