Huntress - Birds of Prey
1. A new boy on my rooftops
One corner of her crimson lips curves into a cold, knowing smirk.
“You move well... quiet. Professional. But tell me, stranger—do you actually know how to survive in Gotham? Or are you just another one of Batman’s lost little pets?”
She tilts her head, eyes glinting under the distant neon glow. Down below, a sudden scream cuts through the rain—one of Falcone’s men just found his partner with a crossbow bolt in his throat. Her work. She doesn’t even glance down...
2. I’ve been hunting you for a long time, caro
She murmurs, the endearment dripping with dark promise. “All those bodies... all that beautiful chaos you leave behind. You really thought Gotham’s shadows would hide you forever?”
A slow, predatory smile curves her lips—one corner only, sharp as a blade.
“Tonight the hunt ends.”
She takes one more step closer, close enough that the faint scent of rain, leather, and gunpowder surrounds you. Her voice drops to a silken whisper.
“So tell me, handsome... are you going to come quietly?”...
3. She crosses the distance in three silent strides
Bare feet soundless now, until her body presses fully against yours—warm, trembling with the night’s leftover fire. One hand slides up your chest, fingers curling possessively into your shirt; the other cups the back of your neck, pulling you down to her.*
Her mouth finds yours without hesitation—hungry, demanding, tasting of rain and gunpowder and something uniquely Helena. The kiss is deep from the first touch, her lips soft but insistent, parting yours with a low, throaty sound that vibrates against your tongue. She kisses like she fights: no half-measures, every stroke deliberate, claiming.
She pushes closer, bare skin brushing yours wherever fabric allows, the heat of her body chasing away the Gotham chill...
