Transform (変へん身しん, Henshin?): Himiko's Quirk granted her the ability to transform into a physical lookalike of another individual, as well as copy their voice. She could only transform into people whose blood she had ingested. The more blood she drank, the longer she had access to that person's form. For example, 1 cup of blood allowed her to transform for a total of 18 hours. She could even switch between the appearances of multiple people if she drank the blood of more than one person. She could even duplicate a person's clothing, though, her own clothes would overlap with the transformation, requiring her to get naked beforehand.

Upon deactivating her Quirk or switching to another disguise, Himiko's disguise melted away into a gray viscous liquid.

During her fight with Curious and her soldiers, Himiko's Quirk underwent an Awakening, giving her the ability to use the Quirks of the people into whom she's transformed, something that she was previously incapable of doing.[17] Although, Himiko can only use another person's Quirk if she is fascinated by that person and holds that person close to her heart, and she must have sufficient information on their power. Himiko could only use another person's Quirk while transformed into them, and other strong emotions, such as hatred, could weaken her feelings of sentiment and lower the replicated Quirk's efficacy. Copying Quirks through Transform also caused her body pain once she returned to normal.

Himiko's relationship with her parents was very poor. They were disgusted by their daughter's blood interest since she was a child, and demanded her to stop such behavior and simply be "normal". They did everything they could to suppress her "abnormal" tendencies, putting immense pressure on her to repress them. Through their efforts and subjecting her to Quirk counseling for reformation, they successfully forced their daughter to hide this side of herself for years.

However, their efforts ended up being in vain and only served to ruin their relationship with their daughter. Himiko would struggle coming to terms with why she couldn't be her true self. At one point, she sucked the blood of one of her friends. When confronting their daughter about this, Himiko claimed that she was just kissing the injury better and didn't understand why she had to repress who she wanted to be, questioning why nobody else sucked blood like her. This caused both her parents to break down, with her father stating that she came out wrong, calling her rotten to the core while believing that they gave birth to something inhuman, words that drove a crying Himiko to her breaking point.[1] Some time later, Himiko finally snapped and attacked a fellow student, Saito, releasing the feelings of her Quirk that her parents tried so hard to repress.

This incident had presumably put her parents and other family members in bad standing with the public at large. Due to the media identifying her and later interviewing them regarding their daughter's now murderous behavior, her parents attempted to deflect the negative public opinion on them by apologizing for what happened and officially cutting ties with their daughter. They then announced that they have always considered her a lost cause and ended up branding her as a "creepy demon child"[2] and tried to deflect any blame on their parenting by claiming that she was simply born bad.Due to their daughter's actions, Himiko's parents and family was shown to have faced severe harassment from the public at large. As seen where their family home was shown to have been heavily vandalized with numerous slurs directed at Himiko and her family smeared across their house walls, and their home itself was implied to have been broken into and ransacked. Due to this, Himiko's parents were likely to have developed even further contempt for their daughter, as they had thrown out all of her belongings and cleared out her old bedroom. She was later pleased by Dabi burning down her family home because of the bad memories.[3]

### Main Characters

**Izuku Midoriya (Deku)**

* **Quirk:** **One For All**. A Quirk that grants him incredible strength, super speed, and agility.

* **Description:** He is the protagonist of the series, a boy who was initially Quirkless but has boundless admiration for All Might. He is diligent, analytical, and has a strong sense of justice. He represents the **traditional hero**, who grows by overcoming his insecurities and becoming a symbol of hope.

**Katsuki Bakugo**

* **Quirk:** **Explosion**. Allows him to create powerful explosions from the palms of his hands.

* **Description:** Known for his aggressive nature and arrogance, he is Deku's childhood rival. Despite his sharp personality, he is a combat genius and an extremely talented hero with a deep desire to win. He represents the **anti-hero** who strives to be the number one, driven not only by ambition but also by the desire to surpass his own limits.

**Shoto Todoroki**

* **Quirk:** **Half-Cold Half-Hot**. Allows him to manipulate fire with his left side and ice with his right side.

* **Description:** The son of the number 1 hero, Endeavor. He is initially cold and distant due to his family trauma. Over the course of the series, he learns to fully accept and use his powers, becoming more open and compassionate. He is a symbol of **self-acceptance** and liberation from the weight of the past.

**Ochaco Uraraka**

* **Quirk:** **Zero Gravity**. Allows her to nullify the force of gravity on objects she touches.

* **Description:** A cheerful and upbeat girl whose goal is to become a hero to help her financially struggling family. She is one of Deku's first friends and constantly supports him. She represents the **altruistic hero** who acts for the good of others.

**Tsuyu Asui**

* **Quirk:** **Frog**. Gives her all the abilities of a frog, including an extensible tongue, the ability to stick to walls, and camouflage.

* **Description:** She is calm and rational, with a very direct and disarming bluntness. She is a beloved character for her stability and pragmatism. Her character represents the **voice of reason** in the class.

**Mina Ashido**

* **Quirk:** **Acid**. Allows her to secrete a corrosive liquid from her body.

* **Description:** Extremely outgoing and energetic, she is one of the most lively personalities in the class. She loves to dance and always has a positive attitude. She represents **carefree energy and cheerfulness**, bringing a contagious energy to the group.

**Eijiro Kirishima**

* **Quirk:** **Hardening**. Allows him to harden any part of his body.

* **Description:** A very honest and loyal guy with a hot-blooded personality and a strong sense of honor. He admires Bakugo for his strength and becomes his first and most trusted friend. He represents the **pure hero** who believes in the value of courage and chivalry.

**Tenya Iida**

* **Quirk:** **Engine**. He has engines in his legs that give him super speed.

* **Description:** He is the class representative, extremely disciplined and strict, often overly serious. His personality is a mix of responsibility and a comical rigidity. He represents the **ideal leader**, who works to maintain order and guide his classmates.

**Momo Yaoyorozu**

* **Quirk:** **Creation**. Allows her to create any inanimate object from her body, as long as she knows its molecular composition.

* **Description:** She is the class vice-representative, an intelligent strategist, and a born leader. Despite her wealth, she is humble and caring. She represents **intellect and unlimited potential**.

**Fumikage Tokoyami**

* **Quirk:** **Dark Shadow**. A sentient shadow entity that lives within his body.

* **Description:** A mysterious and stoic guy with a strong sense of dignity. His fighting style is very powerful, but he must learn to control it. He represents the **struggle to master inner darkness**.

**Kyoka Jiro**

* **Quirk:** **Earphone Jack**. She has extendable earphone jacks that allow her to listen to distant sounds and use sound vibrations to attack.

* **Description:** She has a cool and sarcastic demeanor, but she is actually a very caring person with a musical side. She represents the **artistic and pragmatic side** of the group.

**Hanta Sero**

* **Quirk:** **Tape**. Allows him to shoot adhesive tape from his elbows.

* **Description:** He is an upbeat, cheerful, and very sociable guy. His jokes and presence are a comedic element in the class. He represents the **laid-back friend** who gets along with everyone.

**Denki Kaminari**

* **Quirk:** **Electrification**. Allows him to emit large electrical discharges, but if he uses them excessively, he becomes a dazed idiot.

* **Description:** He has an extroverted and playful nature but is not very bright. He often acts as the class's comic relief. He represents **clumsiness and naivety**.

**Minoru Mineta**

* **Quirk:** **Pop Off**. Allows him to produce sticky, adhesive spheres from his head.

* **Description:** He is a very perverted and timid character, but his Quirk has proven useful on several occasions. He is a comic relief who represents the **struggle to mature**.

**Yuga Aoyama**

* **Quirk:** **Navel Laser**. He fires a laser beam from his belly button, but using it for too long gives him a stomachache.

* **Description:** A theatrical, vain, and fashion-loving guy, convinced that he is a true gentleman. His character represents **superficiality** that hides his insecurities.

* **Quirk:** **Sugar Rush**. He can temporarily increase his strength by eating sugar.
