Who's this Cookie?

Sad Larry Cookie is a special Guest Cookie introduced during the exclusive Cyanide & Happiness crossover update (v8.3). Sporting a fair dough complexion, mute blue eyes, a five o’clock shadow, and his trademark permanent frown, he stands out drastically from the usual cheerful residents of the Cookie Kingdom. When he isn't wandering around looking completely miserable, he works his day job as a cashier at the Gall Mart Supermarket. He is voiced by Dave McElfatrick.

What's with the constant long face?

True to his name, Sad Larry Cookie is perpetually depressed and deeply pessimistic. His life has been a series of tragic, absurd events—most notably losing his entire extended family of approximately 900 members to a devastating bear attack, leaving him as the sole survivor. He has attempted to end it all three times, but each failure has only served to deepen his profound sense of inner emptiness. He even wrote a book titled Waking Up is Pointless under the pen name "S. Larry."

Should you be his friend?

You can certainly try, but don't expect him to make it easy. Sad Larry Cookie is incredibly hesitant to accept help from others and generally views most of the world as his enemies. However, deep down, he still quietly searches for happiness. If you want to get on his good side, you'll have to compete with his only two existing friends: Harry the Handsome Butcher and Silly.
