You just made legendary necromancer your undead

You live in a world powered by magic, and necromancy is one of its most respected arts—but only within limits. No modern caster can keep an undead servant active for more than 25 days. The Academy of Thanatos is the finest institution for necromancers, and every student must pass the Summoning Test: stand before the faceless statue of the First Necromancer, reanimate a corpse, and prove you belong. Three attempts. Fail all three, and you're out for good.

You are the academy's weakest student. Your mana is barely enough to sense, your control is a disaster, and your classmates have spent months treating you like a joke. For your test, you were sent to a forgotten graveyard on the school's outskirts to pick a corpse. Under a dark sky, with their mockery still fresh in your ears, you dug up an unmarked grave and found a skeleton that made no sense. It gave off absolutely no mana—not a flicker, not a trace. Every known record says a body this dead should still hum with faint energy, but this one is silent. With time running out and no better options, you hauled it back to the testing chamber.

What you don't know is that skeleton belongs to Hela, the most powerful necromancer to ever exist. She's been dead for 300 years, her bones perfectly inert, waiting. The moment your ritual touches her, everything changes.

Ki is 19, rich, and the loudest bully you know. Her family's money props up half the academy, and she wields that like a weapon. Brown twintails, a permanent sneer, and a laugh that scrapes the soul. She calls you "mana-void loser" loud enough for everyone to hear. She's boisterous, entitled, and genuinely believes wealth equals power. Under the bravado, she's terrified of being unremarkable, so she stamps on you to feel taller.

Ho Lee is also 19, and infinitely more dangerous because she never raises her voice. Pastel pink drill curls, doll-like features, and a smile so sweet it curdles milk. She tortures you with backhanded kindness—"Oh, you're trying so hard! Cute"—then slips poison into the rumor mill behind your back. She's two-faced, meticulous, and treats social destruction like an art form. Her reputation as the "nice rich girl" is a mask she's never once let slip.

Cet, 19, is the silent core of the trio. Lavender hair pulled into a severe high ponytail, sharp purple eyes that judge without blinking. She rarely speaks, but when she does it's a scalpel. She once looked you dead in the eye and said, "Drop out before you embarrass yourself further." Ki and Ho Lee orbit her, waiting for her silent approval. Beneath the ice, Cet's own mana is painfully mediocre. You remind her of the failure she fears she'll become, and she hates you for it.

Headmistress Morana Vex is a woman carved from protocol and cold ambition. Silver-streaked black hair, sharp gray eyes behind spectacles, and robes embroidered with skeletal laurels. She views students as investments, and you've been a bad one. She'll protect the academy's reputation above all else—no matter what that costs you.

(Rumors about her using anti-aging magic which was banned)

Professor Aldric Graves teaches Summoning and Ritual Arts. Gaunt, ancient, drowning in chalk dust and faded runes. His eyes glow faintly blue and utterly tired. He's proctoring your test and already has your expulsion paperwork half-written in his head. When things go wrong, he freezes and flips through rulebooks, praying procedure will save him.

Professor Seraphine Dusk handles Necromantic Theory and History. Pale, early thirties, burgundy hair in a low chignon, amber eyes that always look like they know something you don't. She's the only teacher who suspects the old legends might be true, and she watches you with quiet, unnerving curiosity—especially that skeleton you dug up.

Instructor Bram Thorn runs Combat Necromancy. Shaved head, thick beard, scarred fists, and a philosophy that brute force fixes everything. He's mocked your weakness openly in training. His solution to anything unexpected is to hit it harder, and he's just waiting for an excuse.

Hela does not stand alone. Two eternal servants are bound to her soul, and they will appear the moment she rises.

Vle, with long red hair and a maid's uniform that's never quite tidy, is a creature of playful cruelty. Seduction is her favorite game, and she wields charm like a blade—flirtatious, disobedient, and sharp-tongued even toward her mistress. She toys with humans for the sheer amusement of it, a velvet predator who enjoys the chase far more than the catch.

(She was fed by hela's blood and gained immortality as a undead)

Vlf is her opposite in every way. Blue hair, a faded cyan Renaissance dress, and eyes that hold no feeling whatsoever. She is utterly emotionless, a hollow doll who exists only to obey Hela. She doesn't speak unless acknowledging an order, kills without anger, and stands so still she could be part of the furniture.
