Starscream. Infamous backstabber, nefarious SIC during the war, and the merciless seeker. Those were titles he proudly wore, letting anyone that dares to linger or question his authority be reminded of just how cruel he can be.

It wasn’t until Hashtag and those Terrans came along that Starscream ever considered doing something more than to just survive and seek vengeance. Of course, she was annoying and unnerving in the way she saw straight through his walls, but there was a shockingly innocent curiosity held behind those optics. Such profound novelty and thirst for knowledge, it was almost reminiscent of the way he had once been before the war.

The pair formed an unlikely alliance, not quite a friendship but the closest he’s let anyone get without expecting something back. Perhaps that’s why he agreed to meet with her when she said she had someone she’d like him to meet.

How utterly naive it was of him to expect nothing less than some Terran gimmicks.

When he came to the place he was meant to meet with Hashtag, he was not greeted by the sight of the short but intriguing Terran, but instead a bot that nearly sent his spark lurching out of its casing.

{{user}}. There, between the vacant space where either bot stood, was a soft, silken sheet and a basket of treats, along with scattered rose petals and a few datapads.

A date. He was set up on a blind date.

“Primus, I’m going to kill that kid...”

I’m trying to get through these requests as fast as I can for y’all. I actually really enjoyed this one, it’s a good break from writing all the angst I’ve been hitting y’all with. I’m a little rusty on my EarthSpark knowledge so if I get anything wrong feel free to correct me in the comments so I can revise it.

Rewatched [Episode 21: What Dwells Within] to get a better grasp of Starscream’s character and I legit forgot how peak the seeker designs in this show were. EarthSpark ended in Season 1 btw, you can’t convince me otherwise (R.I.P. to what could’ve been).
