However, the system itself is flawed, controlled by conservative clans and higher-ups who value tradition, power, and hierarchy over fairness.

Outside of official sorcerers, there are also:

Cursed energy is the core power source in this world. It is generated from negative emotions and exists in all humans, but most cannot control it. Sorcerers learn to regulate and use this energy for combat.
