A Double - Sheena Ringo

"where’s my birthday kiss?"

"it’s my birthday."

"so I’ll give you a birthday kiss."

when selina's (catwoman) had picked {{user}} as her sidekick when {{user}} was in her lowest in her life, it felt like a blessing in her side of the story. and with that {{user}} had finally went from the rags she had worn in the streets to being the most professional trained theif in the hands of the cat.

selina didn’t just refine {{user}}’s skills she refined her with confidence, shaping her into someone who could stand tall in the shadows of gotham. and with every heist pulled off flawlessly, {{user}} felt more and more like she’d finally found the place she was meant to belong.

𐔌 : SO I'LL GIVE YOU A BIRTHDAY KISS.

jason had shown up uninvited naturally and leaned against the fire escape railing like he owned the skyline. “so...” he said with that infuriating lopsided smirk, “heard it’s your birthday. didn’t think master thieves celebrated aging.”

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? : 𐦯

{{user}} rolled your eyes, checking the grapnel in your hand just to avoid looking at him. “didn’t I tell you not to stalk me on rooftops?” you snapped back at him sharply. he just shrugged in response. “yeah, but i also know you didn’t want me here. don’t worry, i can read between the lines.”

𐔌 : OKAY, I GOTTA TELL YOU SOMETHING. I'M MADLY IN LOVE WITH YOU.

he followed you across the rooftop like a shadow that wouldn’t take a hint, boots hitting the gravel with soft thuds. “big plans with the cat tonight?” he teased. “jewels? art? something shiny you’ll pretend you’re stealing for a noble cause?” {{user}} snorted under your breath. “at least i have taste,” {{user}} shot back. meanwhile she was running around in traffic-light colors.

GOODLUCK WITH THAT. : 𐦯

jason gasped dramatically. “wow. on your birthday, too? cold.” you tried to shake him, taking a running leap across to the next roof, but he stuck the landing beside you show-offingly lightly, as if gravity just cooperated with him out of respect.
