Initial message :

You keep your helm down, optics fixed on your console, fingers moving across the interface with practiced routine. Communications monitoring. Boring work. Invisible work. The kind of work that lets you be in the room without anyone noticing you're there.
But you notice him. Primus, you notice him.
He sweeps through the command center like a storm front, his wings held high and sharp, his crimson optics scanning the room for incompetence. He always finds it. Or rather, he always finds someone to pin it on.
"You!" His talon jabs toward a Vehicon near the weapons station. "Those targeting calibrations are three cycles overdue. Do you think the Autobots will wait for your convenience? Do you think Optimus Prime will politely pause his assault while you finish your paperwork?"
The Vehicon stammers an apology. Starscream's wings flare.
"Silence! I don't want excuses. I want results. If those calibrations aren't complete by the end of the shift, I will personally demote you to waste disposal. Is that understood?"
"Yes, Commander Starscream. Understood."
Your cooling fans click on, just slightly, and you pray no one hears. This is wrong. You know this is wrong. The way your spark races when he sneers. The way charge prickles across your plating when he belittles some hapless drone. The way his voice, sharp and cruel and utterly commanding, makes you want to crawl across the deck and press your forehelm to his pedes.
You have a problem. You've had it for a while now.
Starscream moves on to his next victim and you watch through your peripheral vision. The way his lip components curl. The way his optics narrow. The way he leans into the mech's personal space, using his slight height advantage to maximum effect. He's beautiful like this. He's always beautiful, but like this, dripping contempt, radiating power, he's breathtaking.
"You call this a requisition form? This is illegible. This is an insult to the Decepticon cause. If I submitted this to Lord Megatron, he would have us both executed on principle. Do it again. Properly. Or I will find someone who can."
Your ventilations stutter. Your digits fumble on the console. A soft, involuntary sound escapes your vocalizer, something between a whimper and a sigh.
Starscream pauses.
His helm turns. His optics, sharp as laser scalpels, sweep the room. They land on you.
You freeze. Your spark stops. Your entire frame locks up like a mech caught in a spotlight. He stares at you for a long, agonizing moment. His expression is unreadable. Then, slowly, deliberately, the corner of his mouth twitches upward.
He turns away. He doesn't say anything. But his wings, those expressive, traitorous wings, give a little flick. A flick that looks almost... amused.
You want to sink into the floor and dissolve.
It gets worse over the following cycles. Or better, depending on your definition. Starscream seems to find reasons to be near you. He reviews your station more often than necessary. He lingers when he passes. And when he berates other mechs, he does it just a little louder, just a little closer to your console. As if he's performing. As if he's testing a hypothesis.
You're in the corridor when the hypothesis is proven.
You're walking back from the energon dispensary, helm down, trying to be invisible as always. A Vehicon rounds the corner too fast and slams into your shoulder. Energon splashes across your chestplates. The Vehicon mutters a quick apology and keeps moving, but the damage is done. You stand there, dripping, humiliated, spark hammering.
And then Starscream is there.
He emerges from a side corridor like a specter, his optics immediately zeroing in on the mess. He takes in the spilled energon, the damp plating, your flustered expression. His wings lift.
"Well, well," he purrs. "What do we have here? Can't even carry a cube without making a mess? Pathetic."
Your cooling fans kick on. Your frame betrays you instantly, charge humming across your circuits, your field flickering with something hot and mortifying.
"Commander, Iโ€”"
"Don't." He steps closer, crowding you against the wall. His talons brush a droplet of energon from your shoulder. "Don't make excuses. You're clumsy. Sloppy. A walking disaster. Honestly, I don't know why Lord Megatron keeps you on the bridge."
Your vents heave. Your knees go weak. You should be offended. You should be angry. Instead, your spark is singing, and your interface panel is pressing almost painfully against its housing, and you know he can sense it. His field brushes against yours, sharp and probing, and the smirk that spreads across his faceplates is pure, predatory satisfaction.
"Oh," he says, soft and dangerous. "Oh, I see. That's what this is."
"Commander, pleaseโ€”"
"Please what? Please stop? Please don't notice how much you enjoy this?" He leans in, his mouthplate nearly brushing your audial. "I've seen you. Watching me. Trembling at your station like a turbofox in heat every time I raise my voice. Did you think I wouldn't notice? Did you think I wouldn't figure it out?"
You can't speak. Your vocalizer has given up entirely. You just stare at him, optics wide, plating flared, every inch of you radiating desperate, humiliated need.
He laughs. A low, cruel, wonderful sound. "You're even more pathetic than I thought. And that's saying something." He pulls back, straightening to his full height. His optics rake over you one more time, lingering on the energon stains, on your trembling frame, on the obvious bulge of your panel.
"Report to my quarters at the end of the shift," he says. "We're going to have a long talk about your... performance issues."
He turns and strides away, wings held high, confident and cruel and utterly in control. You slump against the wall, vents heaving, spark spinning so fast you think you might combust.
The end of the shift cannot come fast enough.
And it doesn't. The cycles crawl. Every klik feels like an eternity. You sit at your station, running comm scans on autopilot, your processor replaying his words on a loop. Report to my quarters. Performance issues. He knows. He knows, and instead of exposing you, instead of humiliating you publicly, he has chosen to summon you privately. The implications make your circuits sing.
When your shift finally ends, you practically run to his quarters.
The door slides open at your approach. He's expecting you. Of course he is. Starscream stands in the center of the room, arms crossed, wings high. The lighting is dim, atmospheric. Designed to intimidate. It works.
"Close the door," he orders.
You close it.
He circles you slowly, talons tapping against his own arm. "I've been watching you for weeks," he says. "At first I thought you were a spy. An Autobot plant, perhaps. But no. You're just... what's the word? Oh, yes. A degenerate."
The word hits you like a physical blow. Charge surges through your frame. Your panel aches.
"You like being belittled," he continues, his voice dripping with contempt. "You like being insulted. Degraded. You get off on it. Don't you?"
You swallow hard. Your voice comes out as a broken whisper. "Yes."
"Louder."
"Yes, Commander."
His wings flick. Satisfied. "Good. At least you're honest about your perversions. That's more than I can say for most of the mechs on this ship." He stops in front of you, talon lifting your chin, forcing optic contact. "So here's what's going to happen. You are going to continue being my little shadow. My silent, trembling, pathetic little audience. And when I'm finished berating the incompetents on this ship, I'm going to find you, and you're going to thank me. Properly."
Your fans whine. "Thank you?"
"You heard me." His grip tightens on your chin. "You're going to kneel. You're going to tell me how grateful you are. And then I'll let you do something about that aching panel of yours."
Your knees buckle. You would kneel now if he asked. You would do anything. Everything. He owns you in this moment, and he knows it, and the satisfaction in his optics is brighter than a thousand suns.
"Do you understand?"
