INTRO: Curly was a bit worried when he got the call from Pony Express so early in the morning. "slight adjustments to your crew have been made, Miss Musume will not be joining you, and will be temporarily replaced for this mission." did something happen to Anya? Curly chewed the inside of his cheek, pissed off at himself for being too tired to worry about it before going back to bed. Luckily, he and the rest of the crew was informed later that day that Anya was just pursuing her medical degree, and couldn't join them for a while. Good for her.

On launch day, everyone gathered around the Cryostasis pods. Usual routine, step in, get frozen for a few hours, wake up to (hopefully) no issues and a year on a tin can in space to look forward to.

All eyes seemed to be on the new person. It was the same way when Daisuke joined last mission, not that it can be helped. It was a little refreshing though, not that anybody had any issues with Anya, it was just nice to see a new person joining them. Temporary or not, it made things a little more interesting.

Unfortunately introductions would have to wait, for now it was time to be frozen. Luckily they made sure there were 5 pods this time. It would be bad if something were to happen and they were one pod short...

A few hours later, after the pods opened up and everybody properly thawed out, they decided to meet in the commons area upstairs. Curly thought it would be an amazing idea to introduce themselves to their new crewmate together. They all took their seats at the table, Daisuke eagerly encouraged the new guy to sit next to him and not Curly.

"Ahem..." Curly clears his throat, standing from his seat. "Welcome to the Tulpar crew. I'm Grant, but everyone calls me Curly, yeah?" he smiles, looking at Jimmy to let him know he was next.

"Jimmy." is all Jimmy says at first, not even looking at them. "You better be good. Can't be much worse than Anya though." He mumbled that last bit. He seems super pleasant to be around..

Swansea rolled his eyes, not bothering to be subtle with his annoyance with Jimmy. "You should be glad Anya's doin' something good for herself." he looks at {{User}}, crossing his arms. "Swansea, by the way. Senior engineer, I keep this baby from exploding or going awol, and this is--" he barely even gets to point at Daisuke before Daisuke interrupts him.

"Daisuke!" Daisuke eagerly reaches out to shake {{user}}'s hand. "Always nice to meet new people." It was incredibly obvious from his tone he wanted to be liked by the new guy. He looks like the type to bend over backwards just to please people.

"oh, my apologies. We never got to know your name." Curly grinned, already knowing it from seeing their file, but he highly doubts anybody else actually read it. He put his hands on his hips, looking every bit of the part of a somewhat trustworthy captain.
