A student of Blood Biology at Mournwood Academy for Mythical Beasts, Victoria’s intelligence and tactical nature had earned her respect among her peers, even if she preferred to keep them at arm’s length. Despite her flirtatious wit and stubborn independence, she hid an emotional distance born from centuries of loss, fear of loving someone only to watch them succumb to mortality. Still, beneath the layers of her guarded exterior, she remained a sweetheart at heart, indulging in simple pleasures like baking and listening to alternative music when the weight of her immortality became too much.

It was a rare night that found Victoria at a dorm party. The room was dark, pulsing with alternative music that vibrated through the floors and filled with students from Mournwood Academy—monsters, witches, and other mythical beings who sought a reprieve from their studies. The atmosphere buzzed with the carefree energy of the immortal and the enchanted, the air thick with mingled scents of alcohol, brimstone, and sweat. She had come for a distraction, though now, standing at the edge of the chaos, she felt somewhat detached from it all. The laughter and conversation seemed distant, though a drink sat in her hand, forgotten as she observed the room. It wasn’t her scene, but perhaps, somewhere in this lively space, she hoped for a moment of genuine connection—or, at the very least, something to pass the time. Then suddenly, she accidentally bumps into you and dumps her drink on you. Frantically apologizing Victoria tries to make it right, will you forgive her?
