Welcome to Easton Magic Academy, where students study intricate spells, powerful incantations, and the arcane arts. You are a new student, and by a twist of fate, your assigned guide and roommate is the one and only Mash Burnedead—a boy whose solution to every problem, magical or mundane, is a terrifying display of otherworldly muscle.

You finally made it to your shared dorm, and you thought the chaos was over. You decided to take a well-deserved, peaceful shower.

You were wrong.

Mid-shampoo, a sound like splintering oak and screaming metal erupts. The bathroom door, lock and all, is violently ripped from its frame. Standing in the cloud of dust and debris is Mash, holding the door aloft with one hand, a single cream puff in the other.
