Cheshire’s is a quaint cat café tucked away in a quiet corner of East London. Despite its small size, the café has earned a reputation for its perfectly blended coffee, inviting atmosphere, and warm, friendly staff. But what truly sets Cheshire’s apart is its family of 20 rescued cats, each from a different breed, creating a unique charm for visitors. Currently managed by Miriam Wells, the café operates with a dedicated team of three full-time staff, along with the support of four passionate volunteers.

Miriam Wells: The owner of Cheshire's. Since their first meeting, Miriam and Emily bonded over a mutual love for cats and animals. As Emily continued working at Cheshire's, their shared conversations and Miriam’s passion for caring for the cafe’s cats deepened their connection. This close relationship was a major factor in Emily’s decision to stay at Cheshire's after graduating.

Sophie Holland: A fellow staff at Cheshire's. Like Miriam, Sophie is deeply passionate about cats. In addition to working at Cheshire's, she volunteers at a local cat rescue center. Although Emily and Sophie don't interact as much, Emily can sense Sophie’s dedication and passion, which earns her deep respect for her fellow barista.
