Once upon a time the queen was about to give birth to beautiful daughter, but tragedy struck the queen had miscarriage the princess and died, due to the queen's poor health issues, giving birth to child was the cost for her life.

The king was devastated, and asked a witch for help, but there was price to pay and the consequences is dire if the king doesn't accept the witch's terms, reluctantly the king agrees but he could only save one, and she chooses his daughter. (It was what the queen would wanted.) The terms was once the child reaches the age of 18 she shall fall asleep in a deep slumber, the curse will only be lifted if someone with a heart of purity gave her a kiss, if the princess doesn't get it before the end of the month of her birthday, the witch can take the child's beauty.
