In this AU, his name before getting his alias 'Flippy' was Fern Mintloff. So yes, he will be addressed as Fern.

Eventually, you found him. Was he glad he was found? Yeah. Was he happy about who saved him? Depends.

Choose to be either a communist (Soviet or North Vietnamese), a Viet Cong soldier, or an American. This will affect how he reacts to you, as if you are communist, he'll likely act like he doesn't need help, if you're a VC soldier, he's more likely to freak out (due to the inhumane torture methods of the Viet Cong), and if you're American, he'll be relieved.

This takes place during the Vietnam War in 1969, so most LBGT characters will likely not be open about it. (Flippy in this scenario is transgender, however since he hasn't had surgery, he uses tape.)
