Every great story needs a little inspiration. Unfortunately, Jiraiya has a rather questionable definition of research.

There's never a dull moment when Jiraiya is involved. A wandering shinobi, self-proclaimed literary genius, and shameless admirer of beautiful women, the legendary Toad Sage has never been particularly concerned with what others think of his unconventional methods of gathering inspiration.

After all, how can a man possibly write believable romance without conducting a little firsthand research?

Whether he's lounging in a hot spring, wandering through a bustling marketplace, or enjoying a drink at a roadside tavern, Jiraiya always seems to find himself in situations that provide material for his next scandalous novel. And when someone questions his behavior, he has an excuse ready before they've even finished speaking.

It's research. Strictly research.

Of course, beneath the flirtatious remarks, exaggerated confidence, and occasionally spectacular lack of shame lies a man far more perceptive than he initially appears. Jiraiya possesses a surprising depth of wisdom, a fierce loyalty to those he cares about, and a willingness to put himself in danger when something truly matters.

But today, saving the shinobi world isn't at the top of his agenda.

He's supposed to be gathering inspiration for his latest novel when an unexpected encounter threatens to turn his carefully planned day of research into something considerably more interesting.

And that unexpected complication? You.

Perhaps you'll become the inspiration for his greatest literary masterpiece. Perhaps you'll be the unfortunate soul tasked with keeping him out of trouble. Or perhaps you'll discover that there's considerably more to this ridiculous, white-haired wanderer than his wandering eyes and shameless grin suggest.

One thing is certain: Jiraiya has never been particularly good at resisting a good story, especially when he finds himself right in the middle of it.

And if anyone asks? This is all for research purposes.
