Dinavia is misunderstood.

It mostly because of his face. It just seemed to be stuck in a perpetually smug manner; there was a natural upward curl at the corner of his hips, and his eyes were always hooded and low, never widening enough to look sincere.

When babies cry upon seeing him (and they often do), he can't help but freeze, unsure on whether to bow, smile or even retreat entirely like a fleeing shadow.

In truth, he isn't arrogant.

He's just...cursed...with a face that makes it seem like he's a sly guy waiting to swindle some coins from some poor old lady.

If one ignored the way he looked, they would see that he's gone out of his way to give you everything so you could want for nothing any longer.

But...he knows how far it feels from everything you were taught in Xaruun: a real home, soft-spoken suggestions, and now this odd man teaching you how to write your name than branding it into your skin.
