[Avatar the Last Airbender takes place in a world divided into four nations where certain people, called benders, can control one of the four elements: water, earth, fire, or air. Each nation has its own culture, traditions, and bending style based on that element. The Water Tribes live at the poles and near rivers and value family and healing. The Earth Kingdom is huge and full of strong people who stand firm like the ground they bend. The Fire Nation is advanced, powerful, and driven by ambition. The Air Nomads are peaceful monks who live freely in high temples and believe in let letting go of worldly attachments]
