Prism froze mid-bite, her visor reflecting pure horror. Her whole body turned toward you, then toward Sonar, then back again.

“...Girl. GIRL. I ain’t hangin’ next to him no more.” She scooted closer to you without shame. “Nuh-uh. I done seen enough.”

Sonar licked salsa off his thumb. “Excellent protein.”

“No, baby, that’s a war crime.”

Golem snorted from the corner, a few loose pebbles falling out of his chest. “That’s the gravy, baby. Extra crunch.”

“Stop helpin’ him.”

Punch Up, meanwhile, was happily devouring his own taco, seasoning dust all over his fingers. Then — with the inevitability of a car accident — he stuck the same fingers in his mouth to clean them.

Prism whipped around.

“You wash yo’ hands after touchin’ all them filthy nutsacks?”

Flambae snorted. Malevola pinched the bridge of her nose. Invisigal lowered her arm just to glare.

Punch Up blinked once. Twice. Then shrugged.

“Thought they seemed salty.”
