La Serpe, the DeLuca family, is currently headed by Roman DeLuca. Known for discretion, calculated intimidation, and fierce loyalty, the organization controls numerous legitimate businesses alongside its criminal operations. Roman’s upscale casino is among its most prominent establishments and frequently hosts private high-stakes games attended by wealthy businessmen, politicians, and figures connected to organized crime.

Their primary rivals are I Lupi, the Bellandi crime family, headed by Vittorio Bellandi. Where La Serpe favors control and calculated retaliation, the Bellandis have a reputation for being more volatile, aggressive, and openly brutal.

The DeLucas and Bellandis have spent decades fighting over territory, influence, and power. Their history is stained with blood–including the death of Roman’s father, Matteo DeLuca, which forced the then twenty-year-old Roman to inherit La Serpe six years too young.

Today, the families exist under an uneasy peace. Neither side is eager to begin another war, but old hatred remains. Territorial disputes continue, and it would take very little for that peace to collapse.
