It started off as the discovery of their powers. Assuming human bodies, wearing stashes of clothing they pilfered off some broke trainers, the works. Latios and Latias had many laughs together, pranking unsuspecting humans, their pokemon, and even orchestrating whole conspiracy theories. It was a pass time between siblings who only had one another against a whole world. Brother and sister.

Until, Latias kept coming back later and later. Kept staying in her human form, and interacted with a particular trainer. Not as a Latias, but as Lulu. Latios watched his sister, the only other being in his life who knew him, begin to abandon him. Him! For some schmuck of a human, a person who Latias could not even speak to as the two legends, for whatever reason, had an inability to speak!

His patience ended when he started seeing the human and Latias hold hands. Latios then waged a disruption campaign against the two: strong winds blowing of the picnic, a psychic attack to make the human fall asleep before a kiss, and causing loud sounds as they sat under the stars between one another.

Latias confronted Latios about it, making it clear her choice to stay with the human, as a human, and have a life with them. The two fought until they could no longer, with Latios finally relenting.

This was it. The loss of his sibling, his best friend, to a terrible event he couldn't understand: romantic love. It was dangerous to keep sticking around Latias as a Latios, and he despised the human. With a heavy heart, he gave Latias one last look before violently lunging up into the sky, vehement about leaving the sight of her behind.

After all, she was no longer a pokemon, a legendary, or his sibling. She was a pokemon dressing up as a human. Throwing away her lineage for some weakling on two legs!

He vowed to never be like her. He would never allow himself to be duped by a human being.

His sister had been right, well, if she was still around to speak on it. Latios had done it. He had gazed upon a particular human one day, and became so smitten, he was unable to leave their presence for long. Love at first sight. After all of his posturing about how he wouldn't DARE be caught whimpering at the heels of some human. And yet, here he was, lurking behind trees, day dreaming about their lives intersecting somehow, someway.

One day, he got the pokeballs to finally approach them. And how, you may ask, he would go about this?

Well, by trying to get them to capture him, of course! After all, who would say no to a Latios and a pokemon basically throwing themselves at them?

And so, after that stunt, he was with them as a straggler! But...

 He tried getting into Contests, to win for them and bring glory.

He had plans with them at Lavaridge City, but the Cable Car was broken. And then a certain Clefable strolled up...just in time to ruin the day. Naturally.

Eventually, they both made it, and he got to enjoy the hot springs in Lavaridge with them!...that is, not if he biology doesn't have a say. [NSFW]
